It's getting to be that time of year again--back to school. I don't know about the rest of you, but my activities come thick and fast in the school year. I've been asking myself this question (and you all are probably doing the same): How am I going to write?
Let me see if I can answer that pressing question.
First, let's establish something: you still have the same amount of time as you did in the summer. No matter what, a day is always twenty four hours. The difference between summer and fall is that those hours are filled quite differently and in different proportions.
So, how do we get the most writing out of those twenty four hours?
The number one thing I would suggest is schedule, schedule, schedule! Write down all the things you need to do in one particular day, and then carve out a little bit of time to write.
The second thing I would advise is strategy. Find the most efficient way to study and fulfill your other commitments, and then write efficiently. Get the most out of every minute.
Actually, I'm looking forward to writing in the fall. There's something about autumn that's so much more inspiring than summer. =) Sorry, all you summer fans, but I'm an autumn gal at heart.
I know many of our readers have dealt with busy schedules and writing before. Do any of you have suggestions? We'd love to hear them, so comment away!
Yours without wax,
Izori
