A Springtime Poem
By: iGirl
A breath of fresh air,
the sun finally filtering through,
wind dancing without a care,
everything is new.
It's the end of a school year,
the time when flowers bloom,
It's warmer and it's so clear
what is next to do.
It's refreshing and it's playful,
it's inspiring and grand
It's a welcome relief from cold seasons,
and a time to hold a hand.
We can waste away our days
worrying about tomorrow,
but we are in the springtime phase
and we can face them with bravado.
It will come then it will go,
leaving summer in its stead,
but right now springtime is what we know,
and soon its glittering friend.
It's not the best poem ever, but I think we've been posting a few too many writing tips. I thought it might be nice to post something that one of us wrote.
