Hello Writerly Friends!
I know that a creepy scene isn't essential to each book, but some people (those who write mysteries or just enjoy terror) have Creepy things in them .So what should put you in the mood?
1. Sally's Song - Amy Lee or Fiona Apple. This song is from The Nightmare Before Christmas and it's very spooky. I prefer the Amy Lee version, because it reminds me of sort of a ghost or something, it's very chilling.
2. Wuthering Heights - Kate Bush. Kate Bush has a creepy sound anyway, some of her other creepy songs include: The Dreaming and Army Dreamers. They just have the weird creepiness to them.
3. Dark Waltz - Hayley Westenra. This song has a very haunting quality to it, it also makes me think of rich people.
4. Secret - The Pierces. This song freaks me out a little, but it's still really good.
5. Sinful (Renew) - Lili Roquelin. This song is really kind of evil sounding, in a good way. Very creepy.
So those are my suggestions for creepy songs for you! Does anyone else have any suggestions, what do you listen to for creepy things?
