Hello Writerly Friends!
So we all have them in our books. The prodigal son (or daughter) returns home, the best friend is really alive after a car accident, the veteran dad surprises his kid at school, and so on and so forth. Main point, we all have the conclusions, the coming homes and the sweet stuff. But what should we listen to to get in that mood? Here are some of my favorites.
1. New Soul - Yael Naim. I know I spelled her last named wrong. Anyway, this song is peppy and cute and it has a kind of going on a journey sort of feel to it. It was playing while I finished my first NaNoWriMo book, which is still title-less.
2. Love Remains the Same - Gavin Rossdale. This song was on the soundtrack for Invisible Angels, and I think it has a very epic and sweet quality to it, so here you go.
3. Collide - Howie Day. I really like this song because it has sweet, fairly simple lyrics, and it's not too loud.
4. Like A Star - Corinne Bailey Rae. For some reason this song almost makes me sad, but it's really cute and very "end credits sounding".
5. Won't Stop - OneRepublic. So you might know this, and you might not, but I'm a MASSIVE OneRepublic fan, but this song is really cute and perky. I like it because for some reason it reminds me of someone thinking back on his romance/story.
SO that's all I have, what songs do you like to listen to for conclusions/homecomings?
