How do you find your time? I've already told you the advantages to recognizing your best part of the day, but you can't really take advantages of those...well, advantages...until you know your time.
1. Watch your moods. Are you cheerful and peppy in the morning, or are you dragging and grumpy? Do you have a certain energy in the evening that isn't there at lunchtime? Are afternoons when all you feel like doing is eating chocolate and doing nothing, or when you can't wait to accomplish great tasks?
2. Try to write at different times. Consider how you felt when you were writing in the morning as compared to the afternoon. Was your mind racing with activity or was it completely stumped?
3. Look at what you gravitate toward. If you find yourself automatically accomplishing the most at a certain time of the day, you have discovered a huge hint as to what type of time appeals the most to you.
Once you've found your best time, you can begin to incorporate it into plans. On Saturdays, you can use it to write or focus on a special project. On week days, you can take advantage of the energy to do homework. Have fun!
Yours without wax,
Izori
