I am so excited for November to come. In fact, November 1 is just three days away.
If you haven't signed up for NaNoWriMo yet, I highly--highly, highly, highly! --encourage you to do so right now. Yes, writing a 50,000 word book in one month sounds absolutely crazy, but that's what writers thrive on! Craziness!
It's like riding a roller coaster for the first time. You think you'll like it, you've heard people say how awesome it is, but it's so scary until you get on and take that first loop. After that, it's the best thing on earth.
If you're not sure you're going to like it, sign up anyway. If you're not sure you'll have time, sign up anyway. The best thing about NaNoWriMo is that it is completely okay if you don't reach the word count goal. If it gets to much, if you really hate it, if it's just not for you, you can stop whenever you want.
But you never know if you'll like it unless you actually take the plunge and do it.
